Failure modes
A shoot day in Lagos fails in a small number of well-known ways.
Each one below has cost somebody a day. The building is designed around them, and where there is a remedy it is written down.
FM-02
Connection loss
A live stream ends mid-sentence.
Starlink with extenders reaching every room.
Remedy: Time lost to a connection failure during a booked stream is not billed.
FM-03
Late handover
You pay for setup time that belonged to the booking before yours.
Thirty minutes between every booking. Reset, cleaned, checked.
Remedy: Overtime in thirty-minute increments, as used. Nothing rounded up.
FM-04
Three locations, one day
Two hours of Lekki traffic inside a single shoot.
5 rooms at one address. One booking, one invoice.
FM-05
Slow confirmation
A date you cannot hold while you wait to hear back.
Enquiry to confirmation inside the hour.
FM-06
Schedule change
A moved shoot costs you the deposit.
Twenty-four hours' notice cancels for full credit.

Colour and light, not photography. The rooms are in fit-out and we will not show you a picture of a room that is not ours. Renders drop into these frames when they land.

If the power fails during your session, that time is not billed.
That is a term, not a promise. Nobody can promise you the grid in Lagos, so instead we have written down what happens to your invoice when it goes.

Who is building it
Run like a programme, because that is the job the founder already does.
Yame Aibangbee is a Chartered Engineer. His career has been spent in programme delivery across aerospace and defence, at Rolls-Royce, GE Aerospace and Airbus, where a slipped date is counted in millions and "nearly ready" is not a status anybody accepts.
Studio 17 is that discipline applied to a building: fixed scope, published terms, a schedule with a backstop date, and a written answer for each of the ways a shoot day goes wrong in Lagos.
He founded OA Holdings Group Ltd in 2025. Studio 17 is its first venue.
